Coming this week (8) {A few words of THANKS!}

First of all, I would like to thank everyone who visits the blog. The support has been unbelievable. I didn’t know exactly what to expect when I created the site, and I am blown away by the positive feedback! The encouragement via e-mail, text, Facebook, twitter, and in person is greatly appreciated! (I enjoy the discussions!) *Invisible Tattooed Tears of Joy*

On Friday, the site eclipsed 5000 views, which is amazing! (Thanks!!!)

I feel I have a responsibility to write posts which will be entertaining to everyone. I know there are many of you who may not agree with my views but I love the fact that people are able to enjoy the entries and share their own opinions. After all, the posts are supposed to be enjoyable to read, not agreeable!

I would also like to thank people for sharing their opinions. To me, the comments add a great deal to each post!

Football season is upon us so, this week, I will attempt to write posts which will be all about the pigskin! (I am not talking about pork rinds!)

These will not be entries for diehard sports fans. I will do my best to ensure that people will not have to know everything about football in order to enjoy the posts. If you know that football is played with the hands and not the feet—you should be fine! (I am not putting down soccer…I love the sport. CONGRATS to Brazil for winning the Under20 World Cup! Oscar’s winning goal was amazing…he is a beast!!!)

I’m more interested in sharing stories about the role of football in my life. If these posts are too “sportsy,” please feel free to comment and let me know!

I often speak about the love I have for the Florida Gators, but I will not focus on the greatest team in sports history. I have a special piece concerning the Gators, which I will submit for publication. Good Luck to me! (I’ll update the results on the blog. If the work is not published, I will post it here!)
