This Actually Happened – March 3rd, 2012

Burn Baby Burn

I’m sure on this lovely day in March, many people are struggling through frigid temperatures, but I am not one of the unlucky. The weather in SoCal is great. In fact, it’s too hot. Let this entry be a warning to anyone who is unfamiliar with the Los Angeles sun. While at work, I left a bottle of water in the car and returned an hour later. I sat in the driver’s seat and decided to take a swig, because the temperature in the car was over a hundred degrees. I grabbed the water bottle and uncapped it. I drank a small amount and almost killed myself. (Whoever said the sun can’t boil water is a certified idiot!) Thankfully, I survived the incident without any internal damage; I think! I almost got assassinated by our solar system’s star! BELIEVE IT OR NOT!

Go Celtics!

First and foremost, I enjoy writing stories. I recently completed my first novel, and I successfully co-wrote a short film script, which won the grand prize in the words made easy competition.

  1. How was that 10am game??
BTW the way, it’s been the warmest winter in Boston since 1907.. 64 projected this Thursday. Meteorologist predict it will remain this way for the foreseeable future as we go through the ‘Albanic Lunar’ period….ok, I made that last part up but I’m sure everyone reading stopped at the mention of ’64 degrees’ to dig out their beach gear!

    1. Thanks for asking. The game was great. I woke up at 9:30 and I didn’t have to wait three hours. Plus, all of the primetime games happen during happy hour. BTW, 64 degrees is super cold!

      1. Haha…just noticed I wrote ‘BTW the way’ I was trying to save time and I did the opposite…and now I’m wasting more time writing about it.
How soon you forget you bastard! 64 in early March is unheard of!
