Dumb Phoner

On Wednesday, my smart phone began to malfunction. The touchscreen wasn’t working properly. I usually role with the punches, so I wasn’t too bothered by the inconvenience; I simply continued living life. In the past, I’ve had phone problems and I’m accustomed to keeping a phone until it doesn’t work. I guess I just hate the process of switching phones. Each day, the screen worked less and less, until finally blacking out, this morning. If anyone sent me a text message, this is the reason I didn’t respond. I received at least twenty texts, but I couldn’t read them; they are lost forever. I went to the Sprint store, but they didn’t have a service department and referred me to another store. I went to Best Buy, but my insurance is through Sprint so they could not assist me. By the time I decided to go to the other Sprint store, it was too late. To compound the problem, I turned in my work phone on Friday to be upgraded. There is no way I can work without at least one of my phones, so I did the only thing I could; I called Sprint and downgraded to my old phone. Not my old smart phone; that one is basically unusable. (I hate all phone covers, which is probably why I have so many phone issues!) *File this latest incident under, Lesson Unlearned!*I had to dig deep into the stash and break out the older phone. I am no longer a smart phone user. I have a dumb phone. This change will affect my ability to stay up to the minute with Facebook and the blog. Who knows, I’m actually thinking about staying with the dumb phone. BELIEVE IT OR NOT!

Yesterday, two people who will remain nameless experienced a famous scene from the movie Dumb and Dumber. I was not an eye-witness, but as soon as I iron out the details, I will post the story!
